Silver Clay Courses
On this one day course, you will be guided on how to make some beautiful silver jewellery using silver clay. The pieces you make will be pure silver for you to take away to wear yourself or give to loved ones as a very special handmade gift. This is a fantastic material and with a little guidance you will be able to simply make pieces you will be proud of. In the beautiful surroundings of the Olive Tree workshop at Brimstage Hall, Wirral, with a roaring log fire, you will be able to make at least three pieces. This will likely include a fingerprint charm, a textured pendant and a leaf/petal pendant. Please see bottom of page some examples of the work that can be made.You will be encouraged to make pieces of unique jewellery individual to you. Maybe using a leaf from your garden: shells, fossils, pieces of bark you may have at home may be used to make your textured pendant. There will be opportunities to make earrings and cufflinks instead of the pendants if you would rather. Georgina will speak to you before the course to discuss exactly which projects would suit you best and to arrange sending you a fingerprint kit so you can take a loved one’s print to bring along and use on the day.A three course lunch at the Country Mouse is included in the price . Tea, coffee and delicious homemade cake will also be provided.The cost of the course is £120 which includes all materials (Up to 30g of pure silver can be used), 3 course lunch, tea, coffee and cake.
